Anybody get groups together not at TTR?

    Personally, hubby and I will be there from the 12th to the 19th. Other members of our group will be there anywhere from the 11th to the 21st.

    We have gotten together with our TTR friends elsewhere and it was a blast I wish we could do it more often, but it's difficult since we live so far apart.

    We're from Indiana and have met up as a group in STL, Philadelphia, Chicago, central Missouri, as well as others with great TTR friends. Always a fun and rowdy time!

    The best we have done was have Crystal (Bright Eyes) up for the weekend about a month ago. We had a great time but it wasn't anything wild and crazy TTR style. Us west coasters are spread out quite a bit. It would be a blast go to a get together but when I look at the logistics of doing it some place like Texas of Lake of the Ozarks I go "why not just go back to Temptation instead".

    You know what they say....its a small world! You would be amazed at how many people live very near here in the mitten state, we love our friends that are all about 30-45 mins away, it's such a blessing to be able to spend weekends and share events with TTR peeps at home in "normal" life... Lol whatever "normal" means

    We have a hot tub...pool... and some other choice play area toys that could serve as a start for a mini TTR vacay in texas...we also have the tunes

    In my experience, most people, especially those in the northeastern part of the country, don't really grasp the size of California. To drive from the southeastern corner to the northwestern corner of the state is about 1100 miles. Farther than from DC to Boston, back to DC and back to Boston again.

    A running joke we have now, after 2 trips to TTR, is that we have more friends in the GTA (Toronto, Canada, 2200 miles away) than we do within a 4-hour driving radius of home in BC. Some weekends it's not funny.
