I'm kinda considering not going , I was put out to everyone as an asshole, and I accept that... "Thanks to who pointed that out "even though it's not true" it kinda broke my heart, as I had made friends. I was looking forward to this trip, but.. I don't wanna be where I'm not wanted. I understand that after reading what is on this thread that you might think that I am just a creeper. But it is just the opposite. I actually tried to be extremely nice to everyone and I do think that people think I'm trying to be too nice, but that is not the case. Just because I am trying to be a genuinely nice guy, does not mean that I am not a nice guy! I love everyone the same, I don't mind your sexual orientation, or your race, or if you are single or with someone else. It is all good in my eyes!! If you get drunk, I will be more than glad to help you to your room and if you fall down I will be there to pick you up .. Same here, but I am looking forward to that drink. And I am a Scotch man. The only way that I will drink scotch is if someone will drink it with me. My OH likes a whisky, seriously, don't let people put you off being you!!, I think you come across as a really nice person, who could at least hold a decent conversation........as for water, the main reason to drink it is to stop the dehydration which prevents stomach upsets......not really to stay sober!!
Are you going to be there in April? If not, I just have one question, why are you bringing this stuff up? Why not let the people that are there with me in April judge me instead of you? I am not trying to be A jerk about anything, I am just trying to get an answer as to why you would post that... All I try to do is be nice to people, if there's a such thing as being too nice, then I don't know what this world has come to. But I do think you, for posting your opinion on me, it was a real eye-opener to a lot of people that I've got private messages from, thank you again also, the bad guys that I " fell into" hanging out with, the time that you didn't see me, was because I was in my room trying to stay away from them. But, they got kicked out, I didn't! I really do appreciate your concern about me drinking more water in between drinks, but to put me out on blast like you did, is not cool. I thought that Temptation was a place where you could be yourself and not get judged, but apparently I seem to be wrong. You said yourself, that what you heard about me was just hearsay, and I do appreciate you saying that. I just don't want to go this month, and to get judged by the things that have been written about me. Yes, I did get drunk on the first Day, and I did meet some other single guys that were not on the up and up. But before I met those guys, I tried to hang out with the Octoberbreast group that were there and they were very standoffish, I am assuming because I was a single male at a place that is normally couples. If Temptation was meant to be all couples only then I am sure that it would be on the website, however it is not. Being there single my first time in October did give me a great deal of anxiety, but this time I had no anxiety about going because I have "had" A great deal of wonderful people that were looking forward to meeting me, and I was looking forward to meeting them. Like I have said before, we all have had that day where we end up drinking too much, or hanging out with people that are not good to hang out with. But, like I said, people are probably going to avoid me in a few days when I get there because of what was written on this thread about me.. Which most of, is not true, please witness it with your own eyes, and then comment. I had several couples and a lot of singles text and send me messages after the October trip telling me that they were very happy to meet me, and some even thanking me for helping them. You said that I"was doing good deeds " all I was doing was helping people from cracking their skulls from falling down after they drink way too much at patios. I will leave this with this remark, get to know someone before you judge their character. Because, there are some of us guys out there that are genuinely nice i'm not even upset or anything about what you wrote, I just wanted to keep the friends that I have met on this site, and what you wrote may make people think that I am some sloppy drunk who is no good. why did I post? I posted with advice because I saw what happened to you in October (toy exchange and cruise) happening again in April (yacht rental) and I wanted to help you understand why some people get a little uncomfortable with your approach. It started as advice. I was then called out for being ambiguous so I provided more detail and the story. I even left out several parts I thought shouldn't be repeated. Now I am being called mean for answering the questions you and Trish had (but I have thick skin and really couldn't care less). Then you threaten to cancel your trip and then an hour later are full force forward with the trip. Quite a roller coaster we are on. Clearly the advice was not well taken and hasn't helped so sorry for that. I do hope you think about what was said though and look in the mirror and realize the problem isn't 100% everyone else. You are defined by yourself and not what others think of you so regardless of what I think or others go have a great time. Ps. We have met.
