Of course I am... can't you hear my screams of agony in Edmonton. Probably can't hear them over top of the dark demonic voice coming from within my eliptical machine yelling, "suffer you bastard suffer!!!"
Ah so that's what it was... my dogs have been howling for days...LOL (and I don't mean my feet) my dogs ... German Shepard's...LOL I'm not working out like you guys, but trying to follow some really good advice from Lady&Tramp.. time will tell...
Abs are made in the kitchen..............not in the gym! You can work out till your ass turns blue but if you don't change the way you eat and drink your weight loss won't last.......if it ever begins. You simply can not burn enough car lories working out to lose meaningful weight! BION!
Lady&tramp do give some excellent advise with regards to diet, and kudos for being able to follow it. I struggle with eating properly thing. A good old Canadian stalwart; Tim Horton's" is probably the worst culprit for me. Love my coffee with lots of cream and sugar!
..............a couple of you remain skeptical of our advice............we get it.........for decades people have been told they need to workout to lose weight. That's just not right........working out is good for you for so many reasons.......but the key for meaningful weight loss starts and ends in the kitchen. We don't really care if you believe us...........talk to a local dietician at your local Hospital! Then tell us what he/she suggests,
Well now Rum is out for me.. had a reaction this weekend.. Though working out may not make you lose weight but sure is great for toning...
I make lots and lots of healthy choices, and I work out very often. I just know I won’t have a six pack ever. And this is a personal choice. I mean if one shows up all of a sudden by some magic, I will gladly except it, and Elyse can start using it to wash her delicates. I don't drink beer that much because of how many calories it has, and how many of them I will drink (18 easy on a Saturday). So I normally drink diet tonic and vodka, but shots always come into play as well. To have a cut stomach I would have to drastically cut back on this, and that just isn't going to happen. All the hard work isn't worth anything to me if I am not having fun come the weekend. (and yes my idea of fun normally involves drinking. Not that it has to, but it just always seems to go hand in hand with whatever activity my friends and I are doing). So I am not so worried about the 6 pack, if everything else is looking good. I still do lots of stomach stuff, and it's under there, but I don't feel like making the sacrifices to get rid of that last bit.
