As I mentioned in an older post my wife and I arrive on the 22nd Mar and really starting to get excited now. But I find myself a little confused about the night club/Paty O's?? We have some LS friends who really rave about TTR so we decided to give it a try without a lot of research. From what I can tell there is an outdoor bar called Paty O's and also a night club that is separate from that? Am I correct? Are they the same thing? Perhaps the outdoor part is just outside the entrance to the night club? Can someone set me straight?

    Thx

Yes....Paty O's is an outdoor bar. There is also Nice Shoes, which is indoors and used mostly for TTR related events such as lingerie Night.

I think you're thinking the same thing. Paty Os is the outside bar and is the nightclub as well. Nice shoes is inside, but isn't a nightclub feel, more like a pub/sports bar where they do some of the special events stuff prior to Paty Os getting started.

Some things start at Nice shoes, and then everyone makes their way over to PatyOs, once the event is over. If you night starts a little later, then you will probably just head strait to PatyOs.

In two trips (14 nights). I have never been in Nice Shoes...I think ;)

I don't think it's that cool in Mexico in March. Low should be around 72, which means at 6am it will be 72. Earlier in the night, after the heating of the day, Paty'Os will be plenty warm enough to wear whatever little outfit she wants to.

If anything it gets quite warm at PatyOs. It is open air but surrounded by buildings. In April it gets very warm as there isn't much breeze. IF you're dancing a little and a few 100 friends......she might find she wore too much!

I've never been in March but I don't think it will be much different than April. December trips aren't even too cool in PatyOs.

They have installed fans to keep the air moving. I understand that the thought of an outdoor dance club seems different, but once you've been there, you wouldn't want it any other way.

Nice Shoes generally closes (or at least empties out) just as the music starts at Pati-O's. The only exception I have seen was during a torrential rain, the party moved inside. It was not nearly as fun.

Back in the day, Nice Shoes was the place to be. The old timers here can vouch for that. Miss those days

I have been in March twice (again next week). First two trips were the first part of March and I was never too cold on theme nights. As earlier stated, if you are dancing you will be working up a sweat and too hot if anything, no matter how little you have on. Even walking outside on lingerie night I wasn't cold outside of Patty 0's.
