New to Oct-Nov Hello everyone! My husband and I usually go to TTR in April. This will be our first time go at this time of year. Not sure what to expect from this time of year. Looking forward to meeting all the new peeps. It feels like forever since I was there. I couldn't go last year as I was battling breast cancer. Luckily, in May I am done with treatment and can't wait to go have some fun in the sun!! Anything you can advise for this new time of year will be appreciated. We are arriving Oct 30 until Nov 6. Thank you in advance for your advise/comments!! Sheryl

Welcome to a great group! I'm very sorry to hear about your bout with cancer. Halloween is a blast at TTR. Angela
Welcome.... Not sure when in April you ususally go.....but you may find you already know some of the Halloween crowd, as there are many April Addicts who do HnH, especially late April Addicts. it is like a 6 month migratory pattern for some.
Marshe we are usually the around the 17th of April as we have been going to celebrate our anniversary that is on the 20th. I'm very excited to meet some new friends and hopefully run into a few old ones. How is the weather in Oct/Nov? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am pretty sure you will already know more than a few at Halloween. Of course they are busy on the Addicts threads in prep for their upcoming pilgrammage. Weather is something we don't focus on at Halloween. It can be a crap shoot. Last year was good. A few years ago, a Hurricane. Rest assured we concentrate on the party.
And a few early May people as well. Rob, Mike and Traci and us right off the top of my head. The 6 month migratory thing works out pretty well.
CONGRATS on kicking cancer's ass, Sheryl!!!! :lotsofmichaelfs: I am a Komen 3-Day walker and my mom is going through treatment for breast cancer right now as well--so it goes without saying that you will be in my thoughts and prayers! This will also be our (bf and me) first time going for Halloween (3rd trip overall) so we can navigate as rookies together! artyhorn: We will celebrate and toast to you in oct/nov, you deserve it! Looking forward to meeting you!! :clappyinghappy: :daveandmo: :mnm:
Congrads- LOVE 2 hear when people that is battling cancer doesn't thinks that's it. My mom died from cancer over a decade & some years ago, so u know what I mean when I say how she went from a happy mother & wife, to someone helping her with everything. Lets just say I'm proud that u kept your head up, & is living your life. Now on another note, I hope u like tequila, bc we all doing shots when we all get there.
