Not to worry. The homemade stuff starts with store bought vodka. I doubt many people have a still set up.....unless you are in the southeast and then I doubt much Limoncello is being made there. LOL
Nothing that fancy at the bar but we love the lemon drop shots that they make for you, go see Gabriel at the quiet pool bar in the evening he makes the best shots!
Thanks for the suggestion! I just love lemon drops, but have never gotten one at Temptation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh I do love it! :liebe011: I recently learned you can make it...looking around for a recipe but they are all over the place...some recipes say to use vodka and others call for Everclear (pure grain)...some suggest "steeping" for 4 days but others say 45 days ??? Does anyone have a connection to an Italian grandma with a great recipe? Rita
My family always used grain alcohol. As far as the resting time it all depends on how much of a bitter bite you want to it, or if you prefer it sweeter. That's why I said in an earlier post that it's an aquired taste. good luck in making your batch! Let us know how it turns out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I use a potato peeler on my lemons them throw them in the ninja. I then soak them in the grain alcohol for 2 weeks. Strain through cheese cloth the mix with simple syrup and then put in freezer and serve ice cold
