Was going to post this on Trip advisor but then I thought screw them. Encouraging more people to show up will only cause rates to increase. So I'll just share it on CCC. Special thanks to Randy and Kay, Keiwe, R & T and others. You made our experience. This resort exceeded all our expectations. We made some great friends and met some fun people that we will never forget. Is the place a bit wild? It can be but to get the most of the experience here you need to participate. The quiet pool is like every other resort, very quiet and relaxing but if you want to see what separates this resort from the others then go to the sexy pool. Probably 75% of the women are topless and you will see all body types and ages. The drinks improve if you ask for a brand. Want tequila then ask for Cuervo or Jimador or you'll get the no-name stuff. We spent most of our time around the sexy pool or set up camp at the beach and hung out around the pool. By the way the pool was not cold at all. After reading many of the reviews here we were expecting sub par food. This was not the case. The Italian restaurant had some of the best food we have enjoyed at any all inclusive. Filet Mignon and veal scaloppini were both excellent. The Asian restaurant was good as well especially the service and the details. Both these were reservation but there was little difficulty getting them. If you didn't have a reservation you were not forced to go to the buffet. The Seafood restaurant is not reservation and it was excellent as well. The Mexican was a good lunch place, not sure how it was for dinner. The buffet was small but the omelettes were great and the lines never long and although the selection was small and repetitive it was not bad. The theme nights were great fun. costumes are a great way to start conversation and make acquaintances, like I said before if you participate you will have a blast. As has been said before if you are a prude this resort is not for you. You will see some things at the Sexy pool and Paty-Os that may offend those who are easily offended. There were more single guys there than expected. Most behaved respectfully but some were a bit bold and some were just plain creepy. This was our first trip to Temptations but it will not be our last. If you are open minded and have a strong relationship with your significant then you will have a great time. If you are not then stay away. We don't want you there anyway.
My wife and I have been twice to Temptations but will not go again because of all the very young single guys thinking it's spring break.
I see this said often, but from my 2 experiences, I do not agree. I am 32, wife is 31, probably look younger than that, and we are some of the youngest at the resort. On our last trip there was a large mixed group of guys with a few girls, about 25. They were probably the youngest, and were some of the best behaved. I have only gone in Sept. though, so I bet that makes a difference. Obviously going in March and April, the young factor must go up.
I'm sad to hear that they caused you to not consider TTR again. We've been in Jan, April and Sept/Oct and we've not had any issues really. I think the trick is to make friends here with people going at the same time first and then you have a built-in support system in case you need it. Here's hoping you give it another go
Single guys will hit on an attractive woman at any bar if they see an opportunity not just Paty-o's. We went very end of Feb. thru first week of March. I didn't leave my wife alone other than to grab a drink and even then she wasn't far but single guys still approached her. She didn't talk to them and there were no issues beyond that other than a dry humper on the dance floor once. Best thing is to get friends through CCC or other couples you meet. The good people you meet far out weigh the few asses you encounter. (I should have included Britsrhot for special thanks as well.)
Glad you guys had fun . It was our second trip and definitely not our last . It was a great group and we had fun meeting you and all of the couples you mentioned and others as well . Special mention to George the single guy . This guy was a "true gentleman" fun to have around super respectful and just a really decent guy . He had a ball on the Boobs Cruise and at Patyo's . If all the single guys that came to TTR behaved like George then there would never be a "creepy single guy" thread on here .
