This certainly isn't a big thing but helps.

I like to wear jewelry....so I usually separate it all and put in Ziploc bags in my luggage so its not a huge ball of necklaces, earrings, bracelets that I have to untangled once I get to TTR.
    lol

    - Don't forget to drink water!!
    - Put all your liquid in ( doubled ) ziploc bag, so if it's leak you'll be fine ( happpen to us. )
    - Put some Bounce in your suitcase before you leave, and when you're coming back, then change it every 3 month.

    - To remove the smell of your clothes, I wash all my clothes with downy unstoppable, + Resolve powder.. It remove any bactery and any smell. 1 wash and no more smell.

    - Make sure to wear light clothes when you're in plane.. 1st- Jean not confy, and when you land in mexico it's so hot... Usually I wear short under my jogging pants, as soon as we land, I remove them and put flip flop on.

-Have a hair tie ( for long hair ), don't know for you, but me as soon as I hitted outside of the airport, my hair are curly.

    - Buy some food at the airport before to leave.. so you have something to eat during the flight. Food isn't good and it's really expensive. For us, we have breakfast in a restarant and then stop at tim horton and grab a bagel or sandwich.

    - Go to sleep early the day before you leave because if the last long one you'll have until you're back. :) My flight it's at 6h30 in the morning so I wake up at 3-3h30, and we are at the airport by 4h15.. I take some sleeping pill at 6 pm and by 7 I'm sleeping like a baby.

    - Make sure when you zip you're suitcase before you leave so it doesn't smell.

    - From check in the custom, make sure to have all the proper documents ready in your hand ( will be faster ).
What I do usually, put both passport wil our itinerary and flight confirmation all together. in my zipped purse. then as soon as I pass custom in mexico I take my USA transfert confirmation out and lock my purse with my tsa lock. so no one can take our stuff. ( it's sound a bit drastic but at least no pick pocket :)

Don't go to the airport drunk, they might not let you in for your flight ( happen to someone I know ). + Bring every medoc you might need for the flight ( advil, gravol, whatever. )

    - Bring your owns earbutton headphone so you can watch a movie or listen music .. :)

If I can think of anything else I'll let you know.

    I forgot.

I don't refill my travel bottle so before to get out if they are almost empty ( we spend 10 days there )... I just throw away all my liquid and gel ( or almost )... so that way I get maybe 2-3 pounds extra.

    :)

This is cross posted. But Steve posted this info which I put into my Temptation's contact:
Same chain, same system near to us charges 50 pesos ($3.50). It would cost $20 in a taxi round trip though so stick with the place across the road if it's a mild problem and doesn't entail serious treatment.

Anything more serious then hotel Doctor or hospital (Galenia is my recommended hospital)

Bring an extension cord. Sometimes the plug and the mirror are not close together.
