Where are some cool bars to check out on the Isla? Also what are some other points of intrest? We plan on renting some golf carts and driving around. Thanks Garry
Really at the end of the isla there's a restaurant ( blue small building ) but after that you pauc30 pesos ( 3 usd ) and they have a great tour takes about 2 hours but so beautiful great for picture. Envoyé de mon SM-G900W8 en utilisant Tapatalk
We are thinking of going this trip too. There was a post awhile ago looks like fun. Did some looking at it but hope we get some good ideas. Have a great trip. We'll be there in two weeks, cant wait!! Dan
Do the loop, rent golf cart, I could write a book on the places to go..drive through beer store and for sure check out a place called the Joint.. great service, great food and of course drinks..and on the other side Beers so cold it will hurt your teeth.. no groups, no kids the best pina colada in the world well i think so ..and jeff drank Cadillac margarita's 6 oz sweet heavenly alcohol and they will only sell you two. and a great view.. there really is so much to do..and don't get me going about the evenings over there..
Best Bar hands down on Isla is called The Tiny Bar. its downtown, hard to find, capacity is probably 10-12 but they play great music and pour a strong cheap drink.
forgot to add if you want an amazing meal we tried Dopi's a couple weeks ago for dinner and Wow it was amazing. If you like fried fish sandwiches with fish caught that day go to BoBo's Burgers.
What day are you guys heading over there in April? Do you fancy any company? We love going over to Mujeres. We always head out to the south point and go snorkelling at Garrafon de Castilla.
We're going the 24th and come back to TTR on the 26th and you guys are more than welcome to come with us.. I can't remember your dates but if you want to go sooner we'd be up for that also.. We love showing people around and never get tired of it, we do it every time we go.. we for sure have to set up a date. We've haven't done the snorkeling, not Jeff's thing, but if there is a place he can sit and have a beer while we're snorkeling sounds like fun..
We agree, the Joint and Coldest Beer are awesome. Many more places to explore. Also make sure the cart you rent is in good condition. The first one we rented had a fuel line that kept coming undone...not good to be stranded. WnC.
Yep. Garrafon de Castilla is a beach club on the south point. $5 to get in and you can rent snorkel gear. They have chairs dotted around and sell beer. The snorkelling is right off the shore (don't even need a boat). We leave on 25th, but will definitely look to go over at some point in our week!
