Can anyone tell me if beach massages are offered at the resort? We would like to do a couples massage and were told that tents existed somewhere on the beach where we could have this done. We went last year to TTR and I don't recall ever seeing these tents. Any info on where they are, how to book and how much would be greatly appreciated!!
Walk down to the beach and you'll see two tents just past the marina...about a 2 minute walk. There have been good reviews...I think $40 an hour plus tip is what I remember. Pro Tip: Get the massage BEFORE you get sunburned!
I've had massage at both huts. Contrary to others, I felt the massage at the first hit was slightly better despite being a couple dollars more. I've also done both 'sensual' and therepudic massage (for one) at the resort spa and felt it to be very poor...but I understand the couples massage is said to be excellent at the resort. You're not going to get any sensual on the beach obviously...but the outdoor on the beach experience is nice despite having to listen to the neighboring resort 'entertainment' staff try to drum up activity. As Scotty said....the huts ar just down the beach to,the left. 2 minute walk. Booking is simple...walk over and either reserve your time or lay down right the if they have the opening, I'm think they both setup aroun 10 or 11 in the morning.
April loves the massage booth with the big yellow sign that says Massage. its the second one down the beach. She did it 3 times this last vacation and I did it once. Worth the $40 an hour
yup, take left on beach and go to the covered tables on the SAND, they are Excellent. (there are two tables prior on a cement slb, we no experience there)
I went last time and it sucked on the beach. We can get better at home for $40 an hour. Ended up stopping it early actually.
totally surprised at this comment. We go everytime to the left on the beach second hut. AMAZING and have had several others say the same. Look forward to it every year!
Must not have gotten a "Happy Ending"...sorry just kidding. I couldn't pass that one up. Sorry you had a bad experience. We haven't been so I wouldn't know. Does the second hut offer couples massage? Are they male, female, or both. I prefer a woman's touch...no offense guys, but a woman's hands on you is much more relaxing than a dude's. IMHO. The wife even prefers a female masseuse.
