Fortunately.... A very large gentlemen came in as she was being dragged in and grabbed the creep. We had read on CCC about the incident earlier in the month and acted accordingly. If we hadn't read that post things might have ended differently.
We've had multiple issues with single guys over the years.......but almost all have been with guys on day or night passes! Don't think guests have ever been a problem!
BIG difference between some drunk obnoxious asshole and some asaulting a women in the bathroom! I would hope any women would defend herself if caught in that situation! I know mine would. George
We live in a pretty quiet Midwestern town...and this kind of thing isn't all that uncommon in our downtown bar district. Temptation always feels relatively safe...but this incident has just reminded us all that no matter where you are, home or abroad, it always pays to be aware and as safe as you can. Typically, Jamie will always hit the ladies room with a couple friends...if we need to go back to the room at night, I'll head up with her. It's always felt as safe at TTR as anywhere, but it only takes one weirdo to change that.

thanks for the heads up! God knows I can get drunk out of my mind and wander for a potty break.. I will be taking a partner with me (Please remind me if you see me drunk) to potty or go to room!! Rick has a full time job with me! Thank god he loves his job!
Make friends quickly and watch out for each other. We always keep an eye on anybody leaving the group. Never deal with the situation (should there become one) by yourself. Get security to handle it and YES....get your group together immediately.
Glad the guy got kicked out, but why do people always wonder if he might have been a local or someone on a day pass. There are 500+ people staying at the hotel every night, and maybe half a dozen day/night passes sold per week. In any case the price of a pass at $180 is way out of the reach for most local guys, $180 USD is about 2 weeks average wages. If locals wanted to do that kind of thing there are much cheaper places to do it.
