Can someone please give me the scoop with taking the yacht out at TTR? We are newly premier, and I thought it might be fun to try on our next trip. I mentioned it to my hubby and he said that we are not a high enough premier tier to be able to take it out. We bought the lowest level they offered, lol! So my questions are: Can any premier take out the yacht? How long do you have the yacht? Is music available on the yacht? What is the cost for the yacht? How many couples can it hold? And for those of you who have taken this thing out, how would you rate your experience on a scale of 1 to 10? Is it worth missing out on the Sexy Pool Shenanigans to take it out? Thank you for all your wisdom! :ladiesman1:
Check your contract, it will be mentioned if you have yacht rights. It would most likely be in th3 $300-400 range for half day. Room for 10 with food, drinks, and music. It's up to you to make the fun, but hey you are cruising around on a private yacht most people are going to enjoy it
If you plan on using it when the resort is near capacity, like April, you need to book way ahead. Call premier hotline and they will give you email address to write to.
I don't think there is hardly any limit on how forward you can book ahead. We booked the yacht for April when we at the resort in January. A couple of years back the yacht was always "being repaired", and was never available, which seemed to be BS. We have not had that problem for a while, and have seen the yacht out almost every day.
Last April Temptation was out of commission so we were lucky enough to get Unik. LOVED IT! The rates are $400 and $450 now and they still only take 10 people no matter what boat you have. We would spend every day on one of the yachts if we could afford it. Actually did 2 days in a row in December. You really do need to book the minute you are thinking of going. You don't have to pay until 24 hours before your reservation. We always bring our own music so I don't know what they have on the boats to listen to. Temptation looks to be on it's last leg and we had to use the earphone jack instead of the USB port to plug into their speakers. Just be sure to tip the guys well. They are the best! Kat
Temper your expectations - when we hear "yacht" we think heli-pads, crews and dance floors! It is a cruiser / powerboat though for the very little money it is a steal.
We have rented it 3/27/15. We are the lowly premier members as well but we're able to. I have only heard good things. We can't wait. We have other couples you going and it's only 35 each, so between couples that covers tip and all
