We went on a similar cruise a few years ago in Jamaica. After the swim stop we were offered lunch which consisted of warm cheese and mayo sandwiches. Needless to say the sandwiches ended up as fish food !

Nope Glenn doesn't like to eat on the island so Janet ordered him a pizza for one cruise. Just kind of a joke or a surprise.

First year we went I had bad motion sickness on the Boobs Cruise. I only had one drink because I felt so ill. I had taken Gravol (Canadian version of what I believe is Dramamine in the US) and it didn't work enough for me, or frankly, at all. Last year some American friends recommended Bonine and it worked beautifully for me! Zero motion sickness which meant that I could keep up with the hubby drink for drink! :aktion033: I'll be packing some Bonine again this year!

So this is more of a story.....

The second time I went on a Boobs Cruise, there was about 10 of us that all came together from home and all of us went on the cruise. By the time we got to the island for lunch, I was beyond inebriated and STARVING!!!!

I was one of the first ones at the buffet and filling my plate with food. I came to a protein dish that looked like chicken with a batter. I loaded my plate and went and sat down. I started eating this "chicken" and could not believe how AMAZING it tasted.....I started to rant and rave about how AMAZING the chicken was and went back for seconds. Everyone at my table (keep in mind they all knew from home) kept looking at me like I was crazy. I thought it was because I was super loaded and just kept eating my chicken and talking about how great it was.

Finally I said to everyone "Hey, why are you all staring at me like I'm a crazy person". My husband leaned over and said...."Babe, we are on an island....do you see any chickens roaming around.... because you are eating fish"

Now to understand.....I HATE fish....or at least the fish that we get here in Alberta because it tastes fishy and rubbery.....so I never eat fish at home.

Apparently no one wanted to be the one to tell me that it wasn't chicken but fish because I hate fish. Funny enough I started laughing and went back for 3rds. Damn it, it was good "chick"....er....I mean Fish

Now.....it is one of my favourite highlights of the trips....eating the fish on the island!! :)
