Maxx, your review of this movie is only 1 week after spending a week at TTR. I am sure it is hard core porn for many of the people going to see the movie. How do you top a week of BEER AND TITTIES?
Just hanging around waiting to fly home,have got about half way thru the book on audible.com which is funny cos u can speed up the talking! Am finding it hard going too it's comical sex talk and for a bloke who never sleeps with anyone and only fucks he is a bit soft with her for it to be realistic ? What happens in the other books does go all mushy or does she ditch him?
Ok still waiting so read the plot of the second and third books it's exactly as I suspected a love story!
Ahhh, yes. While neither Racie nor I liked the movie, and I couldn't bring myself to finish the first book, she loooves the three books. And they turn her on. And a turned-on Racie is a good thing. So while I don't enjoy the books directly, I certainly do enjoy them indirectly. ~ Maxx
We went to see the movie on opening night, wife liked the books, I bought them for her and boy did they helped loosen her a little bit. SPOILER ALERT!! What I don´t get is the Christian says he does not do romance, but if giving the girl a tour of the seattle skyline in his helicopter while he himself flies it, takes care of her, saves her from abusing friends at the disco, buys her clothes, buys her a car, unexpectedly shows up when she´s with her mom... if all that isn´t romantic, I don´t know what is.
I definitely have to agree with Stacia, I was also very much into the story line..however, the sex scenes were not as hot as the build up. Oh, and I was really bummed by the 3rd book's ending. -Terri
