Anyone have any thoughts on the 20oz vs. 32oz mugs? I feel like I would like the smaller sized one (I have been fine in the past with a 16 oz. insulated tumbler). But how do they compare in size? If it isn't that much larger, maybe I should just get the bigger one. I just don't really feel like carrying around one of those very large sized ones I see. I don't really remember seeing any of the official mugs in Sept (mind you I was probably standing of a group of people and everyone had one, haha).

 

I always take a few different mugs with me. There isn't a huge size difference between the bigger and the smaller of these two mugs from a packing perspective at least, so I would recommend a bigger one: main reason being you can put more ice in it. additional ice will keep a drink cooler longer, not necessarily more drink in the cup, lol. In addition I always have a daytime and nighttime cup, at least the last couple trips. it saves me waiting on drinks at The Bar at patyos at night as they are always packed.

My drinks don't stay in the glass long enough for the ice to melt, haha. I do change it up from time to time, and spend lots of time near the bar. So having something that will last 30+ minutes and stay cold isn't important to me. I just don't always like to have a huge tanker in my hand, unless I am sitting at a table or on chair, which I never do at TTR.

Any chance anyone has pictures comparing them to one another or to another pint sized glass?

 

WOOHOO!!! Just ordered our mugs. We wanted them for last year's trip, but they were sold out. Can't wait to get them so we will have them for this years trip in October.

While looking for additional pictures of the actual mugs, I notice on the first page someone has their names with what looks to be engraving on them. Is that an option you can do when ordering?

 

At this time we aren't doing any customizing. All the customizing has been done on an individual basis once you receive the mugs. There have been some pretty cool ideas so I've seen.
