I second the scuba dive with Boris!! He does a great job of taking you to a different location on each dive.
You know everytime I go there Boris says come on and I plan to go but end up saying next time maybe this May I actually will.
Last September a group of 30 of us took the ferry over to Isla mujeres rented golf carts, bought beer, and toured the Island for a while then stopped at a resort and took over the pool. Police don't even give you a second look driving down the street drinking a beer...Great time.....:headbanger:
Hows the shopping on the Island? We went shopping at the craft market in town and it was fun. Is the shopping comparable? I love to deal
We're not real big on shopping on our trips...but there is a downtown market area on Isla that's really pretty cool. There are plenty of shops and sidewalk bar/restaurants mixed in where we will stop for a drink while our friends hit the shops. As far as what they sell...it's about what you'd expect in a touristy area...but they're happy to bargain with you.
Last time I went it was $100. Unlike the other companies, you dive until your tank gets low. For first timers that is about 30-45 minutes. If you have your C-Card he may give you a different rate. He is always sitting by the sports pool, stop by and talk to him.
