We have been several times and have only had to move once. And for the life of me I cannot even remotely remember any of the room numbers.... we have been by the quiet pool...all the way down in east bum fuck where you can see the people going on the Boobs Cruise LOL.... Has anyone ever tipped the front desk staff to get a "better" room?

We prefer the 3000, 4000, & 5000 blocks. Close to the pool and quiet. I need my sleep.

We just ask for an upper floor in the 5000 block. Last year, the desk attendant wrote a room number on our key card envelope that I knew was above Paty'Os. I just said that won't work for us and requested a 5000 area room. Really, we sleep, fool around, shower and get dressed in the room...that's it. We don't hang out in there since all the fun is at the Sexy Pool and Paty'Os...so who cares where the room is? The resort is so small that you won't be walking more than a couple minutes to get anywhere on the grounds. A tip won't really get you a true upgrade (without the desk attendant risking his job - a Jacuzzi room isn't his to sell for a tip), he can get you a different location within the category you paid for with or without a tip...You can negotiate an upgrade to a Jacuzzi room if you think it's worth it (we don't).

I'm curious about getting switched too if possible. We were on the third floor outside the patty-o courtyard last year and though convenient made it pretty tough to catch the necessary 4 hour 'sleep' to recharge for the next day.

Last 2 years we've gotten the exact same room (and I still can't remember to take a pic of the room number, I think it is 2236 though) 2nd floor balcony that looks down into Paty o's ... We love it!

We get in late on April 10th this year and afraid we won't get that room again :(

Just ask as soon as you get to the check-in desk to be placed away from Paty'Os. Some people love it there...but just as many or more will request to be away from there. They're happy to accommodate you if there are other rooms are available...and there usually are.

Last trip we had a room above the italian restaurant that had two beds. The second day a pipe broke in the bathroom ceiling so they upgraded us to a Temptation Suite. It was second floor with a great ocean view. The jet ski rental guys loved watching Melissa take showers. She had eight of them watching one morning. She made sure to wave goodbye when she finished. I on the otherhand put the blinds down when I showered. We loved the room. It was huge by TTR standards and the two air conditioners worked great.

We've had ground floor Paty O twice, 1st floor Paty O once, and way over in the 5000 block once. I have to say, my favourite so far was 1st floor Paty O. Visited friends who were allocated a room roadside by quiet pool and that seemed like the worst to be honest!

5000 block was a nice room, and very quiet, but too far away from the action. Walking back drunk inevitably led to falling over at some point. Paty O ground floor, yeah the noise isn't great but I'll live with that for the convenience. At ground floor you don't get a balcony as such, just an open area in front of your room, so 1st floor Paty O is the winner for us. Just wish I could request the honeymoon suite that's on 1st floor Paty O. That room looks awesome.

That is our favorite area also, right in the middle of all the fun....

Best room? Hmmmm. What criteria would you use to judge that? Most action? Sorry, we're just perverts.
