I would take the first couple days to get the lay of the land at TTR.. our first trip we put deposits on a bunch of different excursions only to end up forfeiting our deposits, we had such a good time... it was still BBG then and we didn't want to leave. So as I say figure out if TTR is the best place in the world and then book something even if its only the Boobs Cruise.. because if you end up loving it like the rest of us you will be back can always do one new thing each trip... just my 2cents
How much is it to rent the golf carts? And what are the laws regarding drinking and driving a gold cart?

I head it is like 40USD to rent a cart for the day. I have not done this yet, so I can't say first hand. Also heard the ferry is 20 round trip. The laws are that it illegal. Now I don't know how many people try to get away with this. I mean I am probably going to bring a portable cooler, and just pour beers in a cup from it. Or maybe when we are parked and just relaxing on the beach, it will be more the drinking time. If it seems like you can get in trouble, then I am not really looking to push it too far.
Right. I dont want to end up in Mexico jail we all know how that goes. But it does sound like a fun day.
Golf carts are around $45-$60 depending on where you go. Make sure you have your drivers license with or you will not be able to rent one. Don't rent one on the ferry ride over. What they don't tell you is the place to pick your cart up is on the far side of the island. There are plenty of places to rent one from as soon as you get off the boat. As far as drinking while driving around, as long as you're not drawing any attention to yourself or making it obvious, none will notice.
