From the time the pilot announces that we're beginning the descent into Cancun International Airport...I'm bouncing off the walls to hit the Sexy Pool. A Walmart stop delaying my initial Sexy Pool plunge would be like telling an 8 year old on Christmas morning he needed to clean his room and the garage, go to Church and then help mom stuff the Christmas goose and peal potatoes before the Santa presents could be opened. Temptation has plenty of alcohol to keep me plastered for 12 days without a Sexy Pool delay. I can't stand a Walmart stop at home with the nearest Sexy Pool 3500 miles away, but that's just me.

We have always packed 5 hour energy with no issues at all. Mrs Shiner is a vodka snob and can't stomach the well vodka at TTR so we stop and pick up a bottle of her very own Grey Goose for the week.

Happy wife= awesome week at TTR!!!

Grey Goose is good...but you can request Skyy, which is what I drink at home anyway.

Always pack 5 hours energy in the checked bag put them in a ziploc and never had any issue. :) mixes that with sprite and the taste isn't that bad.
Never bring any alchool as TTR have enought too keep me e
    drunk :D.

Anyways everything I pack that is liquid always sealed in doible ziploc bag. Don't like wet and dirty clothes.

A couple trips ago, a bottle of tanning oil exploded in my luggage...luckily one shirt and one pair of gym shorts soaked all of it up. Double bagging is a good idea.

Coffee is my 5 hour energy drink...I don't touch the canned or bottle energy drinks...they do funky things when mixed with alcohol...and I'm sure I have a measurable BAC every second of every trip.

About 10 years ago one of our suitcases got soaked with jet fuel ( or something with a strong Kerosene smell. )
Since then I put all our clothes in one of those large vacuum bags inside the luggage.,, and liquids in an other

I have also seen luggage sitting out in the rain.

First trip I did in cancun... was so rxcited until I saw my.suitcase.. on all the suitcase only our was soaked wet.

As soon as I came back I bought hard top suitcase. So no issue with suicase wet. + all my clothes are in vaccum bag and liquid on another double ziploc bag. :). Never had anything who leak in my suitcase but I know it can happens. :)
