It's all good, you know I was teasing right? You're passionate, I like passionate people, they know what they like and they aren't afraid to hoist that flag when they can. better than passive aggressive any day :)

Opions I don't mind, in fact I enjoy trying to see other peoples points of view even if I don't agree with it. It's the hidden agendas I dislike.

Anyway, I hope we see you again at TTR real soon. I don't think we're ready for Desire just yet.

Posted this in the other thread about someone thinking about changing their resort. Figured it was fitting in the thread that it was based on.

To me it would be crazy to think about not going on a vacation to a particular resort because you heard of a fight there. Obviously that is not the norm, and a very isolated incident.

Think of it is way(and I will go with all low end numbers). There are 384 rooms. At just double occupancy the resort can have up to 768 people. Now let’s knock that number down, because obviously it isn’t sold out all year long, and say the average number of guest per day is 500. Times that by the 365 days per year. Totaling 182,500 guests per year.

Now let’s go with some inflated numbers. Say there are 2 fights every week and they each involve 2 people. That would be 208 people involved in an altercation each year. Based on the number of guests and the number of people in a fight that would mean there is a .1% chance that there is a fight at the resort on a particular day. Now based on the number of guests per day, the chance for YOU personally to be a part of one of the fights would be .0002% chance.

Just looked up a quick stat online(so I can’t say it is 100% accurate), and the odds of dying in a airplane crash are 1 in 354,319 which is also a .0002% chance. So basically you have the same odds of getting into a fight at TTR on a particular day, as you do dying on the plane that got you there. If you are not comfortable with these chances, then you might as well not even go. Or, to take it one step further, you might not even want to leave the house, because you have a .01% chance of dying in a car accident.

I think what I've learned from this thread is..
1st. Don't assume that you don't need witnesses for any reason that security takes you to the front desk have a couple friends go with you, no matter how small you may feel the incident or situation is.
2nd. Just because I'm a repeater, or member doesn't mean the resort will take my word and or have my back.
    3rd. Just walk away...

My only question is to OP though you have said you won't go back to TTR after this and I understand... what I would like to know is will you be allowed to go back. Would or could the resort ban someone forever.

Absolutely all in good humor :)

Sadly, I am not heading down any time soon. Glad to see everyone is still doing well.

Deleted. What I originally wrote didn't add anything to the conversation.

Well, shit. :) I had been following this thread out of curiosity, then it devolved into what it did, and I still kept my mouth shut. But I couldn't resist mentioning the sheer lunacy of the comments coming from that particular poster. It reminded me of that quote from the movie "Billy Madison":

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
