4.WHY THE FK ARE people being rude and calling out other people is what I can not understand .(side note Donald has been a respected chatter for sometime ) so the name calling is just bs and making it a bigger problem .

As one of the 'regulars' lol I broke my personal records by waiting 14 pages to add my OPINION. Just felt like we didn't have the entire story and wanted to let it play out before chiming in. And ashamed to say it was almost like watching the horrific accident on the other side of the road as you pass by. It is a horrible thing (the incident itself, people attacking each other, taking sides, trying to incite a reaction by the opposing opinion, etc) but you can't help watch and get interested it what will happen next.

My 2 cents... If you cut thru all the crap, drama, assumptions... you are left with two accounts of what happened. One where there was only a push or two by the couple after an aggressive guys rude threatening behavior AND one where there was some sucker punches after a rude comment made to the wife. Two very different accounts of the story. And I think those of us not there are left to guess where reality falls between the two accounts. And I do not care to guess.

What irks me is how the resort handled the situation. Nothing irritates me more than inequitable situations where I feel something just isn't fair when it could of been avoided. To me it is very clear that the resort did not do its due dillegence and took the easy route (at least for them) in handing this over to the police. Damn well knowing what that meant for Ingram and jewels. In a way presuming guilt.

There are consequences to these actions. In our opinion it is a pattern with their management approach that allows horrible situations like these to happen. I base that OPINION both off this story and our own factual experiences. Our first trip to TTR a friend was surrounded by a pack of single guys after one grabbed his wife's ass and called her fat. I told security on the perimeter of Patty o's and got that blank stare like I was speaking another language (because of course I was). I had to personally defuse the situation. But for the rest of the trip I was looking over my shoulder not feeling safe. We have been back 5 times since as we love the TTR party. However, EVERY trip except Octobetbreast 2014 we have had at least one incident where a single guy has inappropriately grabbed Jen. From her simply trying to get a drink at the pool bar and a guy who she never met grabbing her, wrapping his arms around her, pretending to hump her, and trying to forceably kiss her almost to amuse his pack of single friends to a single guy literally following her around all trip leading to him grabbing her ass in the pool. In the first situation I was almost Ingram. In the second Octobetbreast 2013 group took care of the guy. I am rambling but the point is sadly this stuff happens way too often at TTR and security is not always there or willing/able to help. Because the resort has not invested in security that can protect everyone and/or prevent these situations they need to take more ownership and responsibility in finding out the truth before they presume guilt and send someone off to a Mexican jail where we all know there is no justice. I expect ttr to have my best interest in mind when I come to stay with them and not treat me just like a dollar bill.

This is definitely one of several reasons why our vacation dollars primarily have shifted from ttr to Desire. I don't like to bring that reason up too much as it always turns into a single guy debate or offends those that love ttr so much. But now seemed like the appropriate place. I agree that this situation shouldn't make newbies automatically change their vacation destination but it is something they should know when considering the entire package that ttr is. Reality is that ttr is not a fit for all. And if you are aggressive in situations like this or your relationship is not strong enough to handle a place like ttr then another destination may be another fit for you.

I also share our experiences because while I do agree this stuff can and does happen anywhere and the culprits can be either single or married our actual experiences break down like this..,

6 trips to ttr. Apprx 5-7 incidents like I list above. All with single guys.
2 trips to pearl. 1 incident w a married guy who was new to these type of places and not in the ls (in other words he made a bad assumption)
10+ trips to non ttr/Desire style resorts no incidents
20+ visits to events, pool parties (Vegas, Ac) and clubs = 0 incidents.

Just my 2 cents. Sorry to offend anyone.
