the wife and i were considering going to TTR in april or may, first time. We're late 20's, married a year... But for some reason we just ended up switching after being dead set on TTR. So instead we're headed to europe for over 10 days this fall. That was decided a month ago... now i read this thread & am relieved we switched!

 

So what made you switch ? The drunk shoving match ?
The bad response by the hotel ?
or The corrupt police

Well, we don't know any of you, but have been reading this thread. Think it is good you've put your picture on. Don't know who's right or wrong. But we are still looking forward to going for our 1st time.:flaguk:

The just of it was, I'm on vacation in Mexico must keep my cool, & everyone else around me. Glad that we have both sides of the story out there now.
When booze is involved these thing happen.
The OP got more support because he was the first one to post, and it took a while for the other side to get out. I,m sure posts would have been different had both sides been out at the same time, It would have been a he -said ,, he said .
For most of the people concerned it wasn't about the altercation, but about TTR calling the cops and kicking out the OP, without consulting with him.


There was a comment made they called the cops because ,,,'' there was a lot of yelling and blood ,, we feared for our staff, ' ( forget wear I read that , but don't want to go through 400 posts),,, so did the fight go to the lobby ?

Who was doing the yelling ?..Did the resort over react ?

 

Shit talk on here is normal.

They have some "in" crowd that doesn't like "outsiders" who are too "uppity".

Good that we have the other side of the story.

We all knew there was more to the story than presented here.

People immediately believed the OP because he was a regular on cancuncare. Therefore, his word was "sacrosanct" on this website.

Fortunately, the other guy came onto the site to give the other side of the story.

The story went from the OP saying "I just pushed him" to sucker punching the dude and giving him a bloody face.

Claims of the guy being "coked up for 3 days" have been falsified as well.

Anyone who didn't immediately believe the OP was attacked with threats of violence, mockery, being called a "troll", etc.

This type of behavior on this website will lead people to not want to go to TTR or be part of cancuncare.

 

If you sucker punched the dude and gave him a bloody face, then you deserved to be thrown out of the resort. The resort was 100% right to kick you out if you sucker punched and bloodied this dude.

This is a safety issue for everyone who goes to the resort. They can't allow this type of behavior.
