I hope I never come across as a "know it all" I think lots of people here are very happy to answer the same questions again because we understand that some folks are nervous about what to expect at TTR. My wife was! But now we are on trip 9 or 10 and have always had a great time. For us one of the best things about TTR is you can participate at whatever level you want and it is all good.
I never pay much mind to folks who want to be king of some random BBS. Congratulations, you have nothing better to do than make 1K posts on the Internet. Those guys should go over to the F*ck TTR and play super sleuth / lawyer / cop / UN official / social media expert / etc. Everyone else relax, have fun, and be friendly.
That concept cracks me up.. Alejandro... "The front desk guy at the Italian resturant" is a great guy.. Perhaps one of my favorite employees in the entire resort. He always greets me by name and when I finish dinner, he makes me a reservation for the next night. Doesn't cost a penny and the service I recieve is always stellar. Yes , I'm a Premier member and perhaps it carries some weight. But I prefer to believe it's because he's a great guy who remembers those who treat he and his staff very well. You don't have to grease him to get a table. He takes care of his guests. He had no idea that I do this, But I tend to tip those who treat me well with an envelope of cash at the end of my trip. I recieved his exemplary service without a tip but wanted to do something nice and unexpected for him. Just my two cents...
If I have to "defend" myself because I have a different opinion on an issue, despite speaking in a respectful manner, that shows you there is a significant problem on among people who think of themselves as the "in" crowd. Haven't seen such immature behavior since middle school.
We talked about having to utter the last word "Ricky"... Lol.. Just busting your balls Kitty.. You know we love you and you're one of the cool kids now!!! Just have fun.. Be happy.. And my suggestion to drink heavily.. It helps to lower the expectations of the banter found here!!
