Ohh...I'm a little nervous. I'm only a few days off antibiotics for pnuemonia. Still barely healthy enough to make it through a day of work (luckily, I teach in Boston - so we are getting record amount of snow days, today and tomorrow included). Ugh. This may be a low key trip for me...but I'd much rather relax there than here!!
We left a can of Lysol in room 3404 in the cupboard under the sink. Since we started bringing it we haven't had and respiratory issues.
I will look for it next week...thanks Deb but do you get weird looks, when you bring it out to the pool and pass it around for pre AIWC preparation?
Considering Lysol for the AC and Bleach for the Jacuzzi. Wondering if it can not be bought at a reasonable price near the hotel. Anyone tried to find it in the local stores?
Just take the bus I believe R5 down to walmart they should have it there. They have most everything else there
I am on day 7 with no voice. I lost it 3 days into my trip. I wish I would have known about bringing Lysol! The a/c was the problem I am sure! Lucky the pharmacy is across the street. They drugged me up pretty good! Just not good enough to make the Boobs Cruise!
Are the medicines in Mexico safe? Do they have their own FDA with standards there? Kinda scares me some of the meds.
I guess I am not sure!! When you feel as bad as I did, it didn't really matter to me! We got a prescription for a z pack and some other wonderful meds!
When I was down in Mexico, they had their own "pharmaceutical" companies. The regulations were totally different than the USA. I was always concerned about the purity of the medication, contamination, etc. I still took a cold medication down there despite my reservations lol
If your that concerned , just bring your own supply. a lot of the name brands are the same there as here , and I don't see too many 2 headed Mexicans walking around , so i think their pretty safe.
