To my surprise, looks like the responses on this thread seem to be in favor of it. As such I am going to post a thread specifically entitled "g-strings for men" to see if I can get just a bit more input before I jump into buying a few... and I guess if I don't get any seriously negative feedback, it will be g-string for me! I'm in good shape, but not buff, but I guess as people keep stating, "nobody gives a fuck", so might as well get a nice all-over tan
We were both nervous at first, probably I was more nervous than her though due to the fact that prudish USA has somehow deemed anything shorter that the knee and it's inappropriate for men (but normal bikinis are ok for women). Either way, we made up our minds that we would wear our skimpiest swimsuits the first day we got there, just to get it over with. We got there about 11:00 am, dodged the timeshare people and were smart enough to pack some items in ourbackpacks to change into, since we knew our room wasn't going to be ready. We went to the restrooms and changed into our swimsuits. Like Donald said earlier, I put the board shorts on to walk around prior to finding a chair. Once we settled, we both stripped off our cover ups and then. . . . . NOTHING. none of our newfound CCC friends said a thing other that "hey! Nice to finally meet you! Have a shot!" :beer4: Like Donald said, the first couple of days, I would put the board shorts on to walk around, but by the end of the week, I never bothered to put anything on other than to step into the restaurant. We went to the spa our next to last day, and I never wore anything other than my tiny ergowear swimsuit. Make up your mind and then just DO IT! You won't regret it.
I responded in the other thread, too. I have to say, I've never ever been at TTR when someone went witht he CR bag during the day. A couple guys do the thong thing, usually guys from Europe, which is fine as that's what they do there. Not so much for the North American crowd. The above refers to the day. At night, all hell can break loose, with guys wearing socks over the tool to lingerie night, though I think management has sort of closed the door on that lately. I heard about the CR bag at night at Patyo's a couple of times, but I think it was like Bigfoot, you just don't get to actually see it. We DID see, last time, a guy wearing a chicks suspender G-string out around the Patyo's bar area all night, and he was a hit. It was interesting, but it looked uncomfortable on the boys... I mean LOTS of torque on a sensitive area, LOL!
Wife is forcing\wanting me to participate with her on every theme night, I do my best but I guess not very creative as she would want to see me...lets see what she have in mind, I told her to shop for me but time is short so no online orders..she likes the borat suit, not in favor of it but I guess some shots can provide enough courage!
While I have not graduated to man thongs, I have made the switch from board shorts to square cuts and I won't ever go back. They are much more comfortable and when you get out of the water they don't cling to you legs draining water everywhere. That is especially nice when hot tubbing in the cold and you have to get out of the tub.
