I have to say my wife and I have been there twice in the past year and have never seen anything like this so I can only believe this was a very isolated incident which may happen on the very rare occasion so I don't think you should have anything to worry about.

 

It is so upsetting to me even now that his buddies must know he causes problems when he drinks and that the situation was brought on by him yet they allowed us to be taken by police, and got to enjoy the resort while we were in jail. Not to mention the remainder of the trip while we were still paying for it! They absolutely ruined the one vacation we get this winter and our 5th anniversary.

Marshe, I was thinking that if enough of us, especially long time Premiere regulars like yourself, put pressure on the resort to make it right with Ingram and to revamp their security protocols, and training, so this doesn't happen to another guest that we could affect some positive change. It would have to be a large number of us to make it happen. I'm doing it. Donald already started. Let's be hesrd.!

 

With these new policies, you don't even get a chance to tell your side of the story, what if one of them simply throws a punch at her husband? Security didn't see what happened nor took the time to ask the staff that saw the whole situation and know us personally.

Just came across this tread. We have been to TTR since it was BBG. April will make trip 11 for us (already planning what to pack). We are also Premier members. This story is concerning since it could happen to anyone. We have had a few drunk single guy (and to be fair drunk married guy) encounters, but thankfully nothing like this.

Temptations needs to make this right.

 

Well at least I know what we will say to the time share folks. We have been watching this thread closely. As relative newbies we really are concerned with the so called policies. We are so glad everyone treats each other like family. Definitely no fun being on guard your whole vacation. Our hearts go out to Ingram.

 

Correct, they won't do anything unless they feel some economic pressure. They will expect a few emails complaining but no economic effect. Unless people actually boycott the resort, nothing will likely change.


Why did they change the policy in terms of fights? Maybe too many fights were occurring?

It seems like they have a zero tolerance policy now.

 

Whoa..... This is horrible and completely handled wrong by the resort.
