We used the new boat for the first time yesterday. The boat at 65 feet is 8 feet longer than our previous one, and seems about 10 feet wider. This means there is lots more space. We had 85 people attend yesterday and it didn't seem full at all, we have been given the go ahead to up this to 95. However, our minimum is currently 75. I'm trying to get this decreased, but as it stands if we have less than 75 we will use the old boat if we have more than 75 we will use the new boat. In practice due to walk ups and last minute sales, if we have anything over 65 the night before I will request the larger boat. The boat is much easier to walk around with plenty of flat spaces for dancing, the area at the front has wooden slats instead of the 'trampoline' so is much more comfortable. The carpet is now in Chinos's bedroom. Everyone who attended yesterday and who had been before thought it a vast improvement. We have added 2 more wait staff to ensure no one waits for a drink, and will have 4 bathrooms. We only had 2 bathrooms operational yesterday as 2 are being renovated and should be ready soon. We will also be buying another speaker to make 5. Here's a few pics: Below is the right side of the front area, so represents just a quarter of the boat, with the left side replicating the right. The pic is taken from the top of the cabin. Chinos is actually standing in the front centre of the boat in the pic below. The cabin area and shade at the back is much larger too, with seating outside under the canopy for about 12-15 people.
Yea buddy. This looks awesome! I can't wait till May! (I am pretty sure we will have enough party animals to get the big boat). (I figure this pic is still fitting)
