Hello! New to the site and forum. Wife and I are planning to visit in about a year. It will be the spring of 2016, so we have some time to figure this all out. This will be our first visit to any resort of this nature, so needless to say, like all other first timers we are a little bit nervous. I've been doing some research (lurking) on here for a short while now. I apologize if anything I ask has been asked before. Our tentative time frame would be late March/early April of 2016. Is this a good time to be there? We figured we would arrive on a Saturday and probably stay until the following Saturday, but may opt to leave earlier. Will miss our kids I'm sure, but may be having too much fun! Anyhow, I can't seem to find any room layouts online. From my research, I think we would probably prefer to have a room that is quieter, so over near the quiet pool is what I have gathered. I would like to have a jacuzzi room as well, so are there jacuzzi rooms over by the quiet pool and are they outside jacuzzis on the patio? Are they semi private for you know, some quiet time jacuzzi activities? I've read to stay clear of the rooms around Pady O's...if you want quiet sleep. How are the jacuzzi rooms over by the sexy pool? Are they quiet as well? We may be up for the 'Boob Cruise' as well. Can that be booked when we arrive, or should we do so before arrival, and if that is the case, if we decide not to do it, or it rains, or what have you, do they refund? Now it seems I cannot book that far in advance. Is that normal? I did read somewhere, which worried us a little, about renovations. Are they planning to renovate during that time, hence you can't book then? We were really looking forward to this, and with work, children, school, babysitting, this time is what works out the best for us and is the soonest available. Is there anything else we should look into while we are there, that is off resort and safe? How about tipping? Is it acceptable to tip the service? Bringing strictly US currency an issue? And, finally (for now :wink3 we were interested in the sensual massage offered. Sounds fun. I've read a few posts about it. Open to opinions from those that have done it. Thanks in advance! well april is a great time to go, BUT 2016 might not be do able as they are planing to do major renovations on the resort and most likely be shut down. but as of now know one knows anything for sure. so you might want to try going sooner than later

Thanks ScubaSteve and dogface! Wife and I discussed briefly over lunch, and we may be able to squeeze something in this year in August. And based on what I have heard, may be the best thing to avoid the reno that may be going on. How is it in August? How about transfers to and from the airport? Is there a better choice? I've read where cheaptickets.com is a good place to book room/airfare, but I don't see the option of picking the jacuzzi room. I'll have to do a little more research. Anyone have any good suggestions on sites to book both room/airfare from? And where do you arrange transfers to and from the resort from? Thanks all!
I've always used Orbitz or Expedia (which as of today are the same company). There's usually an Orbitz promo code that can be used as well. USA Transfers is the overwhelming best transfer option. The Jacuzzis do have a pull down shade if you want privacy.
Cheaptickets, orbitz, or Alpharooms are usually the cheapest, Alpharooms is for hotel only, flight is booked seperate. I usually do Alpharooms personally, it is the cheapest from Toronto, if booked in advance and paid over time. USA Transfers to and from, is the best you have your own van direct to resort, others that come in vacation packages pick up multiple people and Temptation is the last stop on Hotel strip.
Yeah, Orbitz is giving me the same room options as Cheaptickets. There is about 5 options, they all say Deluxe Room w/ 2 Doubles or 1 King. Some say ocean view, others say garden view, each costing a little bit more None that I can find shows jacuzzi/ocean view. Am I missing something?
Maybe there aren't any available on your dates. I have used http://www.cheapcaribbean.com/ in the past, and I remember it having the option. Also, can use the main links from the site for Alpha rooms. Lots of people use them if you are booking flight and hotel separately.
