We're planning to run cruises on the following dates in March 2015. April dates will be announced at the end of February Wednesday 4th March - deposits open here Thursday 12th March - deposits open here Wednesday 18th March - deposits open here Tuesday 24th March - deposits open here Monday 30th March - deposits open here Each cruise will open up for deposits one month before. So 4th March will open for deposits on 4th February etc. etc. We always aim to open at 1pm Cancun time. Each time a cruise opens a sign up thread will be posted and I'll link to it from here and from the relevant monthly roll call. Each cruise will need 25 deposits paid to reach confirmed status, and the maximum for each cruise is 90 (subject to review with new boat). If we don't reach confirmed status one week before the proposed date, then all deposits are refunded and the cruise is cancelled. Rationale for chosen dates: This years roll call for March is much shorter than last year. I'm not sure if this is because people are gravitating towards the busy months of Feb and April either side, whether they are just not listing their dates or whether this March is actually a fair bit quieter than last. We can only run when we have enough people and looking at the roll call we rarely have over 30 people at the hotel on any one day. Therefore we wont be running as often as we do during busier months. I assess the numbers from the roll calls and various other threads and they don't take account of: - people who didn't add their dates to the roll call - new people who join between now and the cruise date - people who want to do more than one cruise - couples who are also bringing friends (have been counted as two) - folks staying at GOV, Desire or other hotels in Cancun - people who predominantly hang out at the Cancuncare/TTR Facebook group - people who book via our cancunboobsruise.com website - email requests from people who don't publicly post anywhere. So, it follows that my figures are probably a large underestimate of the actual number of people who will be in Cancun that have a connection with cancuncare in one way or another. Lets see how interest in the dates above go, we may have to make tweaks as time progresses depending on interest and feedback.
