Newbies here. We have been to Cancun a few times and love to do some fun excursions. If you participate in most of the theme nights, are excursions an actual possibility at TTR? We plan to drink and have fun, but I'm wondering if we should plan a couple of tame nights in the nights before excursions so we aren't hungover and miserable. Also, what does a typical evening look like? Do you wear what you are wearing to the theme night to dinner? So excited about dressing up!
LOL Tame nights! We don't have no stinkin tame nights!! But seriously, it can be pretty hard to leave the resort, it is usually too much fun there.
Gets darker as the evening progresses...may see some stars if it is not too cloudy, lol. Sorry couldn't resist. Can't really offer anything on the excursions though...we did a few on our first trip but not since. AND yes as you stated it is good idea to relatively good the night before. Some people do go to dinner in theme night ware but I'd say most get changed after dinner. I think the deciding factor is the time that are having dinner. On lingerie night I'd say almost all get changed after dinner. Welcome btw
Many wonderful places to check out while in Cancun.. with that said, if your there for 14 days or longer a day excursion can be fun... but 7 days... ah don't want to leave the party and another thing...nobody gets hungover at TTR... just a beer and clam in the am and your all set to go...
On trips to other resorts and cruises to Cancun we always find excursions to do and enjoy them.. But something happens with time at TTR...There just doesn't seem to be enough of it to want to leave for a day. That being said, this year we are going to try a combination zipline/jeep ride that we saw advertised... But I won't really be surprised if the only excursion is Steve's Boobs Cruise...Can never skip that.
once you are at TTR, there won't be any tame nights (unless you want) but it's extremely hard to stay sober. I haven't tried it nor have seen anyone try to stay sober...:wuerg011:
You guys are hilarious! We were actually sorta planning two excursions (we usually do three), but it sounds like we'll be lucky to fit just one in! I guess I won't have to bring as many clothes that way! So what do ladies usually wear to dinner? Is it dressy?
Oh, and we are DEFINITELY planning to do the Boobs Cruise! So I guess that counts as one excursion. Lol
Clothes! We don't need no stinkin clothes!!! LOL Glad you like the humour! Yup Boobs Cruise counts and that should cover the excursions. There was a post on here about the pirate ship, and yup every trip we say "we should try that someday" 10 or 12 trips later we still haven't made it
That is so the truth.. but honest to god... I always think i'm sober until someone reminds me of what happened the day or night before...LOL
