    Hiya everyone,
    My husband and I are going for our first visit this September. What does everyone recommend we take as currency?

    If I were to go to England, ,, what currency would the bell hop like his tip in ?

    Peso is best , not need to convert twice

    Coming from the US, they will gladly accept USD

    USD, and Pesos.
    Always tip in pesos as they can't pay their bill/rent in USD.

    Usd for excursion, pesos for tips =)

    10 = 1 $
    20 = 2 $
    30 = 3 $
    100 = 10 $
    etc. :)

    I always book my currency online to collect at my local supermarket. Best rate I get.

    I just go to the bank machine at the store beside TTR now, not the one at the resort.
