No there in the empty spots left by the two chairs that Jeff dragged up to his room at 4am and they are still passed out in them on their balcony coz the A/C is broke .

    Do you love this music?

Bomb bomb bomb bomb tink think bomb bomb bomb bomb tink tink bomb bomb bomb bomb tink tink bomb bomb tink tink bomb bomb bomb bomb tink tink bomb bomb bomb bomb tink tink.
Second verse (to quote Herman) “…same as the first…” but louder.
Third verse (for variety) subtract tinks.
Forth verse (repeat # 1). Repeat loudly for hours and you have the Patyo evening sound tract. Who loves this music?

Music seemd fine last week, everyone seemed be have a blast & danced their asses off, at the sexy pool it was just sort of background noise, we had friends all around talking & having fun, I guess it was ok? The ent staff seemd a little off, but we were told that Sara69 is coming back next week, so that will work itself out as well.

I guess I should say that we don't really go there for the music, and it IS a lot better than the techno stuff they played a few years ago, but it was all good even then. Beer &boobies make evrything seem ok!

We do! Is it repetitive, sure... is there too much Pitbull, sure... but when one of those songs that they play over and over comes on at the bar at home we both smile and "have to go dance to the Paty O's music" because for those three and a half minutes we can pretend we are at TTR

Paty'O's is the #1 reason we love Temptation! Sometimes a few songs may get repeated too often, but are usually recent releases and popular.
I laugh when people complain about so many things at TTR, as though somewhere else really does it right.....and for the same price?? I doubt it!
The wife and I sprung for a black tie New Years event here in Denver. We spent close to $500 for the party and 1 night of lodging! Drinks were included, but no food. The sound system sucked so bad that we couldn't even identify if it was Pitbull or not. Oh, and by the way, we stayed at the Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver......guess what? Internet was $12.95 per night!! I'll take Temptation EXACTLY as it is and twice a year isn't enough for us! Anyone here realize that MOST people that stay in Cancun have to spend $60 per person just to attend a Foam Party OR a Glow Party at Senor Frogs because their resort goes DARK at 10pm?

You have nailed some fabulous points.
But we have to keep striving to get TTR to continue to upscale the PatyO's experience.
Too many accolades and they may rest on their laurels.

BTW....it wasn't all that long ago...4 or 5 yrs ago....when PatyO's was pretty boring most nights.
It was horrible muzak/elevator background music most nights, and a live DJ was once or twice a week. The band that played back then was extremely lame ( think Will Ferrell high school keyboard duo sketch from SNL) They set up over by west side of bar and kinda hidden. Keyboard and twin tambourines I remember. Real Sad.

About 8 yrs ago, the Mexican restaurant was converted to an eatery. Prior to, it was the home of the original Nice Shoes. so you could hang there but...You almost had to go out some nights if you wanted a club/party vibe. Most nights half the resort left by 10pm and PatyO's would be deserted many nights.
Nowaddays, maybe 20% leave campus at night and PatyOs is the place to be. Night passes have become a regular occurence.

It took us (TTR diehards) constantly lobbying to get the atmosphere you see today. It was predominantly guest driven.
Now we have better sound equipment, a real DJ booth, better lighting, videos, DJ evrry night, a better band on Rock night, later bar hours, better furniture, etc.

Therefore we can/should keep pressuring to upgrade the song selection/mix.

But you are right, no where else does it better at the same price point.
    Just don't tell TTR that.

As far as your NYE disappointment.....next year make it TTR.
better bang for your buck and warmer too!

    Bluetooth speaker

I always take a blue tooth speaker. I wouldn't even think about taking it to the sexy pool to compete with the Dj/ others. But mostly use it while sitting on my patio waiting for the Hot Wifey to get ready. And also we use it at late at night while doing our bedroom gymnastics. That way we don't here the critiques from people watching the show, as our curtains and patio door is wide open. Come to think of it , that may be a little irritating to our neighbors at 3am.

We do the same... just for the room, on our patio... and not loud enough to bother neighbors.. and if it did bothered someone i would turn it down... our vacation isn't just about us... other people are trying to have one also.. its just call consideration of others.
