This has always been a problem and never seems to change and think people bringing speakers down because of how rubbish the music is. But is not reason to try and drown it out just makes an even worse noise. As a DJ it hurts me that they don't hire a DJ that actually loves music and plays something different everyday. There is so much music out there that's could easily played a variety over 2 weeks so that people don't hear the same stuff over and over. I would love to do a night and I know what I play might not be to everyone's flavour but would be different for a night maybe let me do a take over at nice shoes so people can have a choice one evening? will be bringing my music and decks with me in case
everyone thinks their a DJ.. but what you love others may hate... easier to blame the hotel No!!! I know when I get drunk and play my music not everyone likes it. Everyone is a critic... (all we're trying to say is 3 or 4 others trying to play their music isn't fun at all for those around them)
Ya it is starting to become a problem. Inconsiderate lil groups of ppl who think they are the coolest ppl and gonna be the party and F anyone who doesn't like their imposed music.
Just an FYI.....I tried to convince ents. to offer an hour each day (in support of charity) at the Sexy Pool to guests, to host their own DJ show. I was advocating it for 1pm. when the regular DJ goes for lunch. You pay nominal 50 pesos and go crazy.! would be a nice mid-day break from the regular playlist and would offer (most likely) different genres of music to music fans. Could do a whole theme show, and add a microphone and it could be educational, if person wanted to interact with listeners I.e. History of Blues, RnR HoF, Canadian Rock, NO Jazz But like many things.....they may get around to it....or not
we Should all make a point of complaining to the appropriate people and survey things,, numerous voices get heard more ( unless your in Canada)
Oh crap I slipped ....sorry was that your expensive bluetooth speaker that just went for swimming lessons :cry:
Actually the ones I have been seeing lately (last 4 months) at Sexy Pool are very cheap and tinnnie sounding
