I also love Pitbull. I was just pointing out that they get hung on someone and play it a lot. Even though I like Pitbull, anyone I like is a little much hour after hour every day. You know how top 40 stations play the "hot" song multiple times an hour and you wind up either getting tired of the song or you change the station.

It really does not matter, the music is always good and if the party gets going right at the pool, it is just background noise.

That reminds me of the scene in History of the World Part I where the guy is walking down the street jamming out to Funky Town from his shoulder mounted ghetto blaster. Great movie. :headbanger:

Should have been "usually" good, you are correct

We also feel like when your in the sexy pool and you are having a great time with friends and your drinking and laughing up a storm. I feel like the music is just noise in the background. We know that it can be repetitive at times but hell it's part of the amazing atmosphere this place has. We can wait to go back and party with everyone.

I absolutely knew the point you were trying to make because they do play certain artists or songs over and over again. (I am really hoping that they do NOT play "All About That Bass"). It's just those who know me are aware that I am not going to get tired of hearing Mr. Worldwide. My hubby said I was giddy last year because they played him so much. I know he was just your example but it was a good one because every other song last February and August featured Pitbull in some way. :icon_lol:

There was lots of All About Bass two months ago...if it's still popular, they will play it! Flavours of the month get put on repeat, at least twice a night and more in the day.

Music played at TTR is not what I'd listen to at home, but you get used to it and expect it. Other genres don't work so well (always some like, some hate), so I can sort of understand the reasoning behind it.

Back to the original point...no matter how much the music sucks (or doesn't suck) - speakers attached to what you think is better music just makes obnoxious competition noise. It would drive me batty.

But aren't all of us TTR diehards already a lil batty?
