We just got home last night and we're wondering...

The single worst moment of the trip home is the first step....the unceremonious cutting off of the wrist band. We really hate that part because you know there is nothing left but to get on the shuttle, sulk and start planning the next trip.

 

Our trips over lapped by a few days, I think I recognize you guys! Too bad we didn't have a chance to meet. Next time for sure!

 

Yea it's awful when your pulling away. We didn't say two words the entire ride to the airport. All 4 people just sat in complete silence.

Like others have said, just start thinking about when you can go back.

 

I don't think we had a chance to meet Pedro, although I'm sure he's just as great as the others. Oliver is so sweet though! His smile alone is enough to make hanging out at the quiet pool bar for awhile worth it. We nicknamed him Sonrisas

 

The last few days were either spent at Paty O's and then the pool, or recovering HAHA. We do not believe we met anyone named Amanda during those hazed few days

 

Completely normal feeling. I get really depressed when it's over. The only cure is to book again so you have something to look forward to. Was at TTR in October then took the kids on a cruise over New Years. They were so upset on the last day my girlfriends and I went up and booked another one for the same time next year cheered the kids up a bit. We get home it's -10 degrees. I said to my husband I'm booking TTR again. Lol hurry up Feb.

 

The post trip blues last a long time usually till the next trip. Glad you had fun, in the mean time try to find the people that you met Hopefully on CCC or facebook. And start planning your next trip with them.
Did you go on the Boobs Cruise???

 

No Boobs Cruise for us this time, we weren't sure if it would be for us or not. Dan gets pretty sea sick. But after talking to a bunch of people and hearing stories, we decided we would definitely try it next trip!

We kept in touch with a few people/couples on Facebook, but none of them were CCC members (I asked). This reminds me, does anybody know an awesome, really social guy named Bradley? He's a repeat visitor, I think this was his 7th trip. We met him during the foam party and got pretty close. He usually goes in August or January with his best friend named Pineapple, but unfortunately Pineapple passed away just a few days before the trip. He still went to continue on the legacy, he knew that's what he would want. Tragic if anybody sees him please give him another big hug from us!

 

The Boobs Cruise is a must do. We do every one of them that runs during our stay. Blondie has a terrible problem with motion sickness so she gets a prescription for the Scopalimine patch and she is totally fine. I can't recommend the patch strongly enough.

 

We had them clip the wrist band and keep the part they needed, then kept the rest as a memento. I wrapped my CANCUNCARE orange wristband around my rear view mirror (oddly appropriate considering what Stephie wore the entire time) in my vehicle as a little pick-me-up for drive time. June can't come soon enough! Yes, your reaction is normal and completely understood
