...if it's normal to feel this sad/in a slump?!

We had the most amazing time, and damn...returning to real life is proving to be really hard! I may or may not have gotten a little choked up during our USA Transfers ride to the airport. Dan and I spent the plane ride home talking about and planning when we'll have a chance to go back. Officially addicted.

We met so many great people, but surprisingly nobody from CCC! I'm wondering if anybody recognized us and didn't have a chance to say hi?

Anyways, thank you TTR for the best week ever. Until next time... :)

Sadly, it is totally normal. The only chance at a full recovery is to book another trip. I've gotten chocked up both times we've left and I'm pretty sure it will happen every single time.

Yep, totally normal. And coming back at this time of the year, putting that puff coat back on and trudging in the snow--makes it even harder.

Done the cattle call line-up at Cancun airport check-in counter 20 times now.
And it always makes me laugh, knowing that all the others in line, bound for Toronto, had a vanilla vacation.
you overhear anecdotes, as you zig-zag like beer league hockey players, and smugly snicker thinking 'if THEY only knew.... how boring THEIR vacation was'
sometimes conversations crop up, while waiting, or on the plane and ppl state where they stayed.
I have heard dozens of resort names over the years, and they all sound like sister properties of 'CoCo CoMa'
If asked where We stayed we always say a 'rundown 3* that is cheap, isn't much, but is family owned and we luv the staff'

It is then, that you realize it is YOUR secret and YOU can go back, for more utopia, anytime you want.
And those others' going home, have no friggin clue!

These thoughts always warm my heart when having to leave Mecca and help to overcome the "Wrist Band Removal Blues"

And the fact we will be back shortly (24 days from now to be exact)

So ya....your complications are quite normal and somewhere in my diatribe was a prescription.

I like to review my camera pictures while standing in line , making sure others can get sneak peeks

All of these responses are making us feel a LITTLE better ;) Good to know that we're not the only ones who have a hard time shaking the sadness.

The cutting of the wristband was the worst part! It was like losing a life line. We asked to keep ours as a souvenir and they cut off the serial number and gave them back to us.

Also, I just have to mention and make a shout out to all of the amazing bartenders and staff. We have never met a friendlier or harder working staff anywhere. They had a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable. GABRIEL from the Sports Bar and Johnny from Paty'O were our favorites. Miss them already!

Having never taken a picture at TTR I can only take your word Donald.
But U do take amazing photos
and I can believe that your coping method works too, to fill that sudden emptiness when the transfer vehicle shows up to the floating slab pond.
