I would imagine having a GoPro at the sexy pool is a big no-no, however what about at Patyo's or at the beach? Serious question, as we were discussing with our group having a video of all the shenanigans at TTR. Of course if would just be footage of the people in our group, do you think security guys might be concerned in Patyo's (or other places at TTR, except Sexy Pool and Nice shoes)? The beach is public area so I doubt there is any issues there...
Enforcement seams sparactic ( they do watch more closely during games),, honestly with all the cell phones out there now with 8 and 12 megapixal cameras that take good pictures, you can be almost sure some one will be taking pictures,,, so SMILE
Yeah, in all honesty I think is not worth it having to deal with sensitive people freaking out over pics. Safer just to go for a walk at the beach and take them there. We can proceed to take pics and video in the privacy of our rooms; that's where all the fun happens anyways
I'll have to be honest - I know people take pictures there.. We take pictures of our group (with their knowledge of course). But as for me, I wouldn't want someone with video camera walking around! I come to TTR to let my hair down, relax and certainly do things there and behave quite differently than I do at home ! I don't want to be concerned that my "behavior" will somehow end up on Facebook or youtube for my children to stumble upon ! I understand it's a chance your taking with the use of cell phones and I guess it could be said if I don't want it on video then don't do it .. But still ... I like to have fun when I'm there unlike any opportunity I have at home . That being said .. We have NEVER encountered a problem with anyone and a camera. Paula
The thing about pictures is that private activities are not meant for public display outside of the resort. At Temptations you can be yourself without worrying about someone seeing these things at home. The resort become a community where private activities stay private within the community. While some people are ok with pictures of them partying and half naked. I prefer those things to be keep private. What happens at Temptations stays at Temptations. It is also for professional and private reasons I prefer pictures not be taken of ourselves without our consent. Take away that commitment to privacy than the resort become a place were you can't be yourself. Better off going to a Vegas club.
I am not talking about pictures with consent and freely posted on cancuncare. Those pictures are fine.
One of our friends DID had an issue with photos. Apparently someone with a Papparazzi lens (600mm or more) on a boat took pics of her topless and uploaded them to a website for voyeurs. Something like that would truly suck. We respect the privacy of people at TTR and never ever take pics without consent. If someone out of the frame is recognizable we either crop the pic or blur their heads; if they are too tiny to be recognized or shoing their backs, then no issues.
We've discovered (and not just at Temptation) an inverse relationship between bringing out the cameras and bringing out the boobs: More cameras = Fewer boobs Fewer cameras = More boobs We prefer the latter.
Last year there was a girl with a Gopro in the sexy pool taking pictures of her group and as far as I know it was not a problem. I am sure I photo bombed a few. Hell without pictures no one could post on this site to show just how much fun it is.
The first time we went to TTR, there were creepy single men with those telescopic lenses on their cameras, and they were always pointed at me. HOWEVER, the more I drank, the less I cared. We did find pics of me on a few websites after we got home, and even Facebook (GASP!), so apparently I drank too much and cared way too little. But over the last 3 visits, the cameras have appeared less and less, which is a good thing. But I agree with Garry n Jo, you gotta have pics to show how much fun it is, even if the only people that see them are you and your spouse. Nothing beats TTR!
