Sarah69 will be back at Temptation for the entertainment and we have the possibility of being one of the first groups to use the bigger boat on the 11th. I think we all picked a perfect week to go! Only 2 weeks now.
Hello Week 6ers. We feel 100 percent prepared for our first visit to TTR. T- minus 13 days till take off! The busy lives and families will still be there when we return but I understand we may never be the same!!! Can't wait for the good times. We do have one question that seems best to ask other peeps that will be there at the same time. What is the deal with cameras and photos? As you can see (no avatar) we are camera shy. There is of course uninteresting reasons for this. A camera coming out while in full let-loose party mode by an unknown person will be of major concern for us. We just want to have a good time with no unwanted photographic proof of said good time. Any feedback would be appreciated. Oh...for the record....this question is for activities and good times at the sexy pool. Thanks
Not going to say some voyeurs and candid snappers don't exist...they do, however; security does a pretty good job of keeping an eye out for these individuals and addresses them appropriately. As well, at least with the group we end up hanging with, everybody keeps a keen eye out for those in the distance taking shots and quickly, politely helps them to understand that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated. Had one instance last year where a bunch of the girls in our group were consuming shots in the not-so-convententional manner that likes to be utilized on the edge of the sexy pool. One individual (not hanging with us) decided he wanted to obtain a photographic diary of the moment. I immediately stepped in front of his camera and him, flashed my willy and amazingly, he stopped. He was then told, in no uncertain terms, if the camera came out again, it was going for a swim and the memory card was going to be flushed. As I always say, you can't stop stupid. But, if we're all looking out for stupid, it's easier to avoid. Hang with our group and we all look out for each other! Have a great trip! Drinks are on us!!
There are really no camera rules, per se. There are lurkers and creeps taking random pics (usually single men). And everyone is on the lookout for these people. But really there are lots of pictures being taken by many. The majority of people are taking pictures of friends and subjects they are with. Chances are you may end up in the "crossfire". It happens. But seriously wouldn't worry too much about your privacy. The Resort also has an official photographer and they post party pics to the website. Friends have been in them and I am sure they ask permission of the subjects as these are generally posed shots.
We had know idea you were so good at names Mayor Dave.....please prepare the welcoming committee for our arrival on the 7th. We are terrible with names and having you there will mean we won't have to run around with our phones comparing avatars/ names to find people. We may get judged as photo creepers and have security on us before we even get into the trouble we like!
