Wanted to know if anyone has stayed close to the rooms by the patio bar. If so how loud and can you get any sleep?
We did it one year and it was loud. It doesn't matter if you are partying til Paty O closes but if you go to bed earlier than that you will def hear the music.
My room Oct/Nov was ground floor right behind the Pati'O kitchen. So I got the music till 3, then kitchen cleanup till 7 or so. I ended up wearing high-end ear plugs that I always travel with every night. The resort was totally full for my first few days and couldn't get another...by the time one was available I was settled and mostly coping. If you don't plan on partying late and/or are used to quiet sleep environment, you may struggle. True party animals are probably fine. . Depending on which adjacent room you have, it can be very loud.
Our first night there we stayed in one of those rooms. It was loud for me and had trouble falling asleep, but I like it kinda quiet when sleeping. We ended up switching rooms the next day.
We usually ask to have a room by Paty O's. It is pretty loud with the music going late and the people staying later and still partying.
Early risers here and I need my beauty sleep (Scott btw, lol) so a room by Paty O's is not good for us.
We always ask for a room around Patio's. Yes it is loud, but it is soooo convenient for the girls to use the room for the bathroom and the many cloths changes that goes on at night.
This sounds strange but we loved it, like the previous post its nice and close to your room for changing and bathroom access, but it also is a built in alarm letting us know there is still fun to be had we are requesting the same room again, top floor right above the speakers at patio O's cant wait 6 more weeks!! :lotsofmichaelfs:
You have to be ok with loud music if you have a room just off Paty O's. I tried on my last trip for a couple of nights and found that it wasn't for me. There's no sound deadening at all!
We had one right over the dj booth. It was awesome as long as we were partying because we could run in and out of the room to drop off clothes as we took em off but on our last night when we went to bed early it was LOUD!
