Great review and pics. My wife and I have been to Cancun (9 previous times). This will be our first to the GP. It is a short stay but for 2 Ohio teachers, the 4 days in the sun will be great.
Great review! We stayed at the Golden last summer and loved it! I don't think the hot tub is ever hot.... most people call it the "warm" tub lol But I don't think I would even consider it warm

We've been to Temptations many times and yes it's fun and YES we have created some great friendships with the bartenders and befriended many other frequenters of the resort but think it's time to extend our horizons. We've heard lots about Golden and I think with your review we're going to give it a shot. Thanks!!
I haven't read that report in a while. The spin the bottle app on my phone was such a hit, one of the guys there downloaded it on his phone too. They were also back this year at the same time, and he told me he out it on his phone as soon as they got back to the states last year. Wish we were going back too.
I keep going through the reviews, trying to reinforce that we made the right decision. Right now, I think we did. Just hoping that we don't get bumped. already have a can of AIWC. going to bring some water balloons for some potential beach fun.
The best chance to not get bumped from what I've heard is to get there as early as possible. Guess I'll have to go in to hiding if you have a bad trip, I've talked it up plenty.
