ok people going 1st week in march, how is everyone doing. still shopping, working on that tan, and that diet. im sick of tuna and veggies. I still need to get a Bluetooth portable speaker if anyone knows of a good one let me know. and how soon do I need to book US transfers.
Hey JimandAngie, too bad I am going to miss you guys this year. I bought the bose soundlink bluetooth speakers, great little unit, good sound and battery life. Bringing mine down for post paty'Os party this year with the week 8 crew. Have fun and see you guys again!
Hey there ! We are going Feb 25th- March 4th. I bought Bob this Bose Speaker, works great !!! Re: Transfers, we always book with our Butler at TTR and then they forward everything to the transportation guys. They use All Do Tours, excellent vehicles, service and staff, etc. They always like to have everything as soon as possible to be prepared. :aktion069: Ang.
Bose soundlinks mini We bought one, used it in several locations. Liked it so much we bought a second. Great sound. long battery life and comes with a charger base that you can simply lift the speaker off of to use where you have no power outlet. Be sure and buy the little case that they sell for this. Usually on the shelf near where they sell the speaker. Very compact.
We will be there at the same time and looking forward to meeting all of the CCC groupies. We have the JBL speaker and will be bringing it, its small and compact, sounds great and uses a Micro-USB charger just like most phones (except Apple).
If you don't think you'll use the BT speaker much after you're through with your trip, I recommend the jambox knockoff they sell at monoprice.com it's about $25. I have one in my bathroom that I stream radio / podcasts to in the morning. The sound is average from what I've seen in the BT speaker arena, and it's small enough that I can throw it in my backpack and go. It holds a charge well (I use it pretty much every morning and have had to charge it like twice over several months) and you can leave it plugged in too.
