what will all us TTR folks do when TTR closes for remodel

Hurry up with your semi-retirement already. Jeez, you have 1,000s of anxious CCC members frothing at the mouth over this whole thing. You could become wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.

Everyone on this board knows the concept - adult party atmosphere pretty much at all hours, little staff interference, reasonable prices - all you need is a decent location. Lets face it; it's not the beach, the food, or the rooms that make TTR great, it's the people that create the atmosphere that is so addicting. Create that atmosphere someplace else during a long TTR renovation shutdown and I would wager most of us will follow the party and the Boobs Cruise boats down the beach to wherever the boats dock and the damn near naked party begins. That is the danger for TTR management should they consider a complete shutdown and renovation. There are more upscale, very expensive resorts than one can count in the Yucatan, and jumping into that market with another "me-too" concept is not likely to succeed, especially if you've just alienated a loyal, enthusiastic client base. The TTR / Boobs Cruise party can go anywhere; all it needs is a place to welcome us in.
