what will all us TTR folks do when TTR closes for remodel

So when is the shutdown schedule for around, have to start stocking up on meds. Me & my gf went to Desire RM the last 2 years after being at TTR. Some couples, just stay couples, some groups don't want new members, try to play some music at a nice level, was frown upon by some. With all the trees, it gets alot of bugs. But they are building a brand new Breathless next door. Maybe we can crash there until TTR opens back up.

 

I know it sounds cheesy, but we will use the time to take the kid on his first long distance vacation somewhere. He is 3.5 now, so depending when this happens he will be anywhere from 5-83.

Mostly likely somewhere tropical with lots of kid stuff. I do not plan on going to Disney anytime soon, or maybe even ever. From the stories I hear it is sooo much money. I am sure there are some ways to figure out how to do it on the cheap. (maybe my parents will let me use one of their timeshares. I think they can give up on of their 4 vacations a year...lucky bastards)

 

Well we should start our own resort !
If we had enough investors we could rent a resort property n make all our own rules n entertainment , there are lots of resorts in the carribean that are available,
We do actually plan on it for our semi retirement plan is to open a small resort like Temptation n Desire n hedo ,but even less rules lol .have been looking at southern carribean islands for that
Primarily st Lucia
Or plan b is party/lifestyle private yacht charters
Although plan is about 6-7 years away yet !

 

I mentioned this when there was so much discussion about Oasis Viva a year ago, and couldn't figure out why more people don't try it.

The day time craziness would be less, but from most reports I've read it is at Desire as well, and you can be topless at the pool, hot tub, or beach. However at night, you can pretty much be as wild as you want at the Tiki bar, without security looking at you. When we were there in Dec. there was a B.J. given, sex toys used(twice), girls dancing on bars, topless body shots on the bar with any combination of people giving and receiving, and lots of flashing. You can plug in your own Ipod, so the music selection is good. Plus there is a hot tub big enough for 30 people right next to it on the beach that would be pretty much anything goes. It was when we were there. They even have the grill open till 5:00 in the morning for those craving a burger.

Anyway, it's priced the same, and we had a great time there.

 

How is golden? Anything like Temptation?

 

Everyone can come to our lake house for the May - September part. We can do the Boobs Cruise, but only 15 at a time. Of course once the party is over, we'll have to move.

 

Hopefully they use one of the Desires resorts as a alternative during construction

 

We took my Kid kind of the same way. My parents and Myself and family went with my Brother and my Nephews to a New Samara Beach in Florida on a Time Share that my Parents have. We took 4 days to drive down and book 3 motel rooms around the Disney world area (no point in getting anything other then a clean bed and room to sleep and get ready in). Spend each day at one of the Parks from the early morning till the fireworks. Magical Kingdom was the most miserable for me, just so packed, but over all the trip for the kids sake was well worth it. Yes its a bit expensive, but was manageable when everyone contributed to the pot and the over all goal of the trip for the kids. I was always against the Idea of Disney land, but I got to say it was fun and the Value was the same or more then the cost. Now that its done, going to try and Plan a Trip to DisneyLand soonish. Happy Wife and All that.
