    Curtis and I have done very well with our workout plan in 2014. We didn't slack after the June trip like we usually do. We did switch to P90x3 during the fall, but TODAY we start back the original P90x. Curtis feels he gets better results with P90x.

    Since we didn't slack through the holidays, I'm proud to say I didn't gain a pound. Actually lost some!!

    I haven't tried P90x yet but I did do Insanity and sadly I puked every time! LOL!! That's why I switched to T25. I call it P90x and Insanity for "normal" people. And by normal I mean those of us that don't workout every but are wanting start working out. Its an awesome 25 mins of intense hard work but I feel AMAZING after it. I am hoping to complete the 3 months of T25 and then try to do Insanity again!


    And of course Mork N Mandy we will always accept you the way you are! That's what I love about TTR is the opened mindness of everyone around you! All kinds of people, all kinds of body types, and all kinds of FUN :flash:

    Well Norm (SD_Couple) loves side bets! Anything that is completion keeps that guy going! HAHA. So yes I think that we should come up with some kind of side bet! Lap dances by the sexy pool for example would be fun and start our TTR trip off with some spice and a good laugh (depending on who had to dance!) :clappyinghappy:

    We also have the Insanity DVD's but find to intense for us. Will give a try to the T25 program. We also like hip hop abs and Are currently doing 2 or 3 circuits of the seven minute workout app, which is pretty good btw.

    We did the T25 last year but did 10 weeks of alpha and 10 weeks of beta. Loved it with healthy eating really worked. I lost 35lbs myself. Of course put a few too many back closing out 2014.. Just started back up yesterday with T25 beta plus just additional add on stuff daily. After 10 weeks we will probably either try T25 gamma or P90X3.. Just bought some cool ass equipment too. Definitely helps to work out together.. Melanie and some friends actually started a group on FB to motivate each other and share healthy eating tips etc... 153 days. Can't wait!!!!

    I feel the Insanity workouts are the best, but are super hard at first. After the first week or two, one can do them pretty well (good not great, the professionals can't even do it great). It really gets crazy when you start phase 2 of Insanity. The workout are 62 minutes instead of 40+. It kind of feels like starting all over again and it can be a bit depressing after thinking how good of a job you did towards the end of phase 1. The upper body weight training dvd is the best.

    I really like P90X+, but the problem is you defiantly need more equipment. I don't even have a doorframe in my house I could add a pull up bar to. So I really wasn't getting the most out of it. Tony Horton is a beast.

    T25 is really good, especially if you only have a limited window. The workouts can be really tough if you actually keep your form and do the moves right and completely. There are people at my work gym that have been doing them for 4+ months with zero results. They ask me for advice and wonder why they aren't changing. There is only so many ways I can stress the importance of the form and completing the moves in a nice way. Really I just want to say "you just jerk around for 25 minutes and half do everything, barely bending and not even coming close to doing a pushup or knee raise.”

    I asked Ang about the themes and she said:

    any of the daytime themes seem fine"
