I'm just wondering where you normally go if you thought all the food was bad? Uninspired on the buffet, I can understand. But actually bad? Boring and repetitive if you are there for a week, certainly for two, but still.... bad? And, TTR is aging, thus why they need that renovation project this time next year, I think. Maybe later, like May-August of 2016 is now the word? But you found the vibe, the party-people at TTR are what make it great fun. Best group of party folks we've ever come across. It's a unique place, that's for sure.
I had to laugh when I read this thread. The resort brings strippers in for entertainment one night each week. Also there are alot of swingers at this resort. If you don't go here for the rooms or food and you think this is creepy why would you go to TTR? Surely not for the great beach! Have any of you been on the Boobs Cruise? What was suggested is nothing compared to what happens on the cruise! You would be better going to a regular vanilla resort and playing bingo like Chinos suggests. Signed the Mrs Creepy

The food is ok and unless you get an upgrade at no cost, it isn't worth the cost because the jacuzzi room or Temptation Suite isn't that much better. We love the fact that we can go there for less than staying in the local casino here in Seattle, and it is a really fun party where we have met some of our best friends for life! I would be pissed off if I were paying Desire prices for TTR accommodations, but since it is about a third the cost, I can live with it because you get a lot more than you pay for in other ways And the Boobs Cruise does rock!!
Thanks for the review...everyone has an opinion on what's most important to them. For us, at home we eat out several times a week at sports bars because that's the food and atmosphere we enjoy...we just don't belong in a place with cloth napkins. TTR is exactly what we want in a vacation, and it comes at a great price. A five star resort would be a waste of money for us...besides, we'd be bored out of our skulls. Temptation is so unique in the things that matter to us that we'd never think to critique the things that others might. Having said all that...a few judgmental a$$holes in a resort doesn't indicate that the ..."no one gives a $hit" atmosphere is void. There are a few people not worth being around anywhere you go - at home and on vacation. It sounds like you enjoyed your trip and overcame any of the negatives you came across - thanks again for the review. We've got some months left to wait.
I guess I'm crazy or something we were at TTR in 2013 and we thought food was fine, rooms fine, entertainment fine, beach fine, alcohol fine, it's great vacation for the money. Going back 1st week in March can't wait!!!!! Oh ya the people rock at TTR
