The resort is pretty much a dump. The food...well it isn't very good. In fact heartburn and stomach pain is on the menu. The service is less caring than any resort I've ever been to. The rooms are small, extremely humid, and the A/C is super loud and barely works. The entertainment staff is lame and the shows suck. I did notice several groups talking bad about others. One group was talking bad about a friend of mine and I said it doesn't matter what she looks like, she's a very nice person- so the "no one gives a shit and no one knows u" saying is void. On to the good! The best people in the entire world. We met the funnest people and had the best time with them. Everyone is so fun! Every night was like a party with 100 of our best friends. More fun than we have ever had. We've made close friends that will last a lifetime. Words cannot explain how much fun it is and how everyone is there to have a great time with each other. Rarely had a meal alone, but at the same time had a romantic time. New Year's Eve was just ok, the anticipation was more than the party. And they charged extra for the stools by the pool, the free tables had backs on the chairs. And no one sat anyway so whatever. A few regulars are what makes it fun. They do crazy shit with fireball and shots. It's a really great time. Boobs Cruise. It's the most fun you will ever have in ur life. Let loose and enjoy it. We can't stop talking about it. Omar, Chinos, Steve, and Janet thank u for the amazing time and the hospitality. The price is cheap for what you get. Extreme fun. Met a lot of cancuncare.com friends and that was nice. Overall, it was a really fun trip, but can we take the concept to a different resort? I think the management realized that the ppl will come no matter what, they don't need to do anything and can be mediocre. It's. Too. Bad. Really. We will have to try Desire next time. Can't imagine not being around the funnest people in the world!
Wow kinda to much information! You can do what you want and no one gives a fck is true - never said they don't gossip. People are people and not everyone will like everyone. Long story short - a rose might just be a thorny bush to someone else. Just move on to people you get along with better. No one goes to this resort for the food or rooms. It's to party and fck and walk topless and be kinky. The entertainment is about as good as we saw elsewhere and only needs to be more creative. FU and wet pussy gets old as there primary joke. Wish the entertainment girls could go topless! Bringing in some strippers or offer escorts or a rub and tug services would be a nice addition. It would be nice if the people looking for hookup could be provided a means to meet like wise couples or singles. By the time we found a FWB she was leaving that day - a disappointment for my honey who likes honeys!

I recommend that you try a different resort the next time you vacation. Nothing worse than thinking you are staying in a dump. OK you might pay two or three times the cost at TTR but the food and the rooms will be better. I have found that at many other resorts, people won't talk to each other, so you won't have to worry about people being caddy or disrespectful of your wishes. On the other hand I see that you have 200 posts, so I would assume that your review was tongue in cheek. Otherwise, why would you even try a 3.5 star resort if you want fantastic opulent rooms, 5 star food, and a personal butler for every guest? If you want Vegas class entertainment every night try Vegas. You titled this thread "Newbie..." so now you know what TTR is like. Please let us know when you find a resort that fits all of your requirements.
