Hello everyone! Newbie from Wisconsin here, and I just wanted to say what a fantastic forum this is at CCC! I'm a very respectful and friendly guy who lets people "live and let live"... I'm newly single and recovering/reeling from the end of a 7-year relationship with the best woman I've ever known (and she's already seriously moved on to another man). I've been much more reserved in my willingness to put myself "out there" again. I'm thinking a week at TTR would help! I have a week of forced vacation in February (my company closes for a week) and looking to be there Feb 16th-23rd... Thanks for a warm welcome! :daveandmo:
I am in the same situation and am also glad to have found this site. My wife and I separated in June after ten and half years and she is no longer interested in trying to work things out and has moved on. While I am no where close to being ready to put myself out there I was looking for a place to go for my birthday to try and reset my life. What sold me other then the reviews here is the option to party or to just relax at the quiet pool and beach, I will be there May 20-27. Best of luck to you and enjoy your trip.
If you are looking for a big group of people to party with, you have picked a shitshow of a week to come to it's all good. Plus anything bets -5 degree F out.
Honestly, going there single looking to party but not hook up is one of the BEST ways to be!! You don't have to wait for anyone, you do whatever you want, and there is no pressure to do anything but have a fucking blast!! I'll be there the 15th-22nd if you need a dinner dining buddy (I find that is the only time it sucks to be solo). I'm there solo, but attached to someone at home. And sometimes I'm fun. :headbanger: I have a few small flame tattoos up the middle of my back if you need an easy way to spot me. But, I'm also loud, so if you're at the sexy pool, I've probably already drunkenly introduced myself to you.:daveandmo:
