Probobly about the best idea for traveling ive ever heard. In the past, We have scanned our cards/passports, and printed them off, and taken 1 copy with us, but if your luggage is gone as well..... Great tip!
Saw this/that on a show called ''Stuck abroad'' last week. Scan and Email,, you can access anywhere they have internet I also print an flight Itenary and put it in an outside pocket of checked luggage , so if the tag fall off they is a back up.
Dont use luggage made of cloth it will pick up humidity and gain weight our first trip gained 10 pounds in 2 bags
Just got the super light weight Samsonite Poly carbonate something,,,,, they are almost air tight,, if you store stuff in there add some bounce sheets cause otherwise everything will smell closed in musty ( found out the hard way )
TIP: if everyone would simply check all their baggage, we'd all get the plane off earlier, which means that we'd all get there and have our bags in the same approximate amount of time, and with less hypertension and anger. My $0.02.
