Johnny & Amanda - did you find traveling on Christmas to be less expensive option for you? Ours cost an arm and a leg! However... Had an awesome experience yesterday - I was checking my lottery tickets while doing some last-minute Christmas Eve shopping, and found out one of mine was a winner! Matched 5 out of 6 numbers for the AZ state lottery, which netted $2k. Which was just slightly over the cost of our airline tickets. But still, w00t!!! :aktion033: Biggest lotto win I've ever had! We're heading out on the 27th, so if you see a couple of newbie wallflowers around then, it's probably us! jjd
Congrats on the lottery win! Don't be wallflowers, look for the orange wristbands (the CCC forum wristbands) and come say hi! We were wallflowers for a little while on our first trip but made some great friends (who we met here on the forums) and hung out with a fun crowd the rest of the trip. It was way more fun after sucking it up and saying "hi" that first time - it's largely why we're coming back.
