The willingness to turn away business, to ensure the experience for everyone else is all that it lives up to be. MAD RESPECT! Thank you Steve!

    Kevin-

I would be honored to have you as a partner in crime. We seldom are able to get away from the kids for an extended period of time, so being able to run around Mexico for a week gives us the green light to live it up a bit. So while most call an evening of dance offs, body shots off TTR security and jumping scantily clad into the pool the highlight of the trip... we plan on calling it Wednesday. :)

Based on some of your awesome pics, you and Ailsha seem like a party waiting to happen!(just add cocktails and bikini and the party starts right?). Looks like we are gonna miss you by just a couple of weeks. I hope to see a thread while you are there from a bunch of single guys complaining about the unruly married people at TTR!

    your huckleberry- Scott

They don't always have so much extra capacity. For example they are already 100% sold out for some nights in May. They won't overbook though like TTR (as far as I can tell) as people won't pay 500 a night and then be a happy camper getting bumped to 200 a night ttr. As to why it sells out less frequently and has availability now I have to think it is the price point.

Some are but just like TTR both Desire properties also tend to sell out early(just general bookings) for popular times of the year ie: NYE, Valentines Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, etc

Kyle is correct in that neither Desire property will overbook, so if you have a confirmed booking you are guaranteed a room when you arrive.

Completely agree Rob. We have had good experiences at TTR which have included couple respectful single guys (AKC & 2excited) who hung out in the groups we were with. Seems to be the groups of younger males feeding off each other that have occasionally made issues of themselves. Having said that the best defense is usually hanging out with the folks we have met here so we can all look out for each other. See ya'll soon.

Our conversation reminded me of this scene.
